Incorporation in the recipes/meal planning
MyPlate is a visual reminder to make healthy choices when it comes to meal planning. The four main things on the plate is fruits, grains, vegetables, and protein. Along with the 5th component dairy or water.
Vegetables : Nutrients vital for health and maintenance
Proteins : build and repair muscles and bones
Grains : Fiber, iron, and B vitamins
Fruits : Packed with fiber and antioxidants
Dairy: 3 servings per day gets you calcium you need
